Why does this BA15S LED lamp not have an E-mark:

LED replacement bulbs must meet European standards regarding safety, waterproofness and prevention of short circuits (ECE-R37). These standards are based on the old incandescent and halogen lamps. LED replacement bulbs cannot meet these standards. The reason is that there is no filament in it. As a result, this LED bulb does not receive the ECE R37 quality mark and may therefore not officially be used on public roads. You may use the BA15S LED bulb set on your own property or in racing, for example.
